After School Tutoring
Provides free one-on-one tutoring to students, along with homework assistance and reading comprehension skills. Students from nearby universities volunteer their time to work with the students.

 Adult Education
JSLC is committed to combating illiteracy and providing job readiness and employment opportunities by combining the efforts and resources of the Jeffries Street Learning Center, The Dallas Housing Authority(DHA), the Dallas Independent School District(DISD) and South Fair Community Development Center.

 Provide computer-based learning for participants to reinforce basic learning skills
